Vital Waters has chosen Kelowna to launch the first of many locations

producing the purest water enriched with positive thoughts, music and blessings. Vital Waters also produces several varieties of stable alkaline drinking water, including enriched Himalayan drinking water. With these offerings, Vital Waters hopes to raise awareness of the potential of water as it relates to public health and water quality.

With a unique approach to business that prioritizes quality of product and ethical standards of behaviour, Vital Waters has positioned itself as the water provider the Okanagan can trust. Co-owners Joel Kutschera and Chris Collinson proudly display the Vital Waters mission statement (living the changes we wish for the world) in a prominent place- directly behind the cash register.

One of the first things you see when you walk in the door to the Kent Road location is an extensive lending library of books, lectures and movies, all designed to facilitate an education process the owners believe to be an integral part of the Vital Waters mission. Vital Waters offers all its employees a generous organic lunch program, as well as access to fitness facilities and weekly seminars on topics such as physical detoxification, personal empowerment and resource sovereignty.

It’s a reflection of the company’s commitment to being the change they want to see in the world. They believe a focus on quality, organic products sourced from responsible providers will be appreciated by customers interested in the product’s holistic benefits, in addition to the social impacts of purchasing them. Mr. Kutschera sums it up thusly, “ if we don’t drink it, eat it or put it on our bodies, we don’t sell it. ”

Vital Waters handles all its purification, sterilization and testing themselves, in-house, at their Kelowna facility. Doing all the bottling locally allows them to not only fine tune every aspect of the water content and quality, but also to minimize their carbon footprint, as the bottles don’t have to trucked in from a central location. All their waters, from the 99.9% pure demineralised to the premium Himalayan Plus were developed locally by Vital Waters to meet a growing need for pure drinking water that does more than hydrate.
